BMJ Best Practice is an online point of care decision support tool that is designed to provide clinicians with quickly accessible patient consult information. The user interface is straightforward and well-organized, enabling the user to access essential information about conditions, symptoms and treatment with just a few clicks.
Accessing BMJ Best Practice
The University of Nicosia Medical School provides direct on campus access to BMJ Best Practice for all students and faculty at https://bestpractice.bmj.com.
To access Best Practice when off campus or to download the BP Mobile APP you will need to create a personal account.
How to create your BMJ Best Practice Personal Account
Register for a personal account while connected to the Medical School Wi-Fi on your laptop or from a library or computer lab PC at https://bestpractice.bmj.com.
Select Create Account on the top right of the Best Practice Home page and follow instructions. Please make note of the email address and password you use for your personal account.
Note: If you don't use your personal account regularly, it may need to be reactivated. To reactivate, log in to your BP personal account from the Medical School campus OR if you are having trouble accessing BP when off campus, please contact Carrie at rodomar.c@unic.ac.cy.
How to download the BMJ APP
Visit your Apple or Google store and search for 'BMJ Best Practice' select the app with this logo When prompted, use your BMJ Best Practice 'personal account' details to sign in and download the content.
