Available Library Resources

The Library provides access to the latest research findings in each discipline that can help faculty update/create their courses. Trainings are also offered upon request to assist facutly be well aware of the available resources and provide opportunities for their students  to develop their research skills throughout their university life; not only on research courses.

 

Our primary objective is to provide high quality resources (both print and electronic) that cater to all subject areas taught and support the educational and research goals of the University community. The Library currently has:

  • eBooks:approx. 500,000 from various publishers/vendors
  • eJournals: approx. 30,000 from various publishers (e.g. Elsevier, IEEE, Springer, Sage, Wiley, Emerald, Taylor & Francis)
  • Databases: approx. 120 (organised alphabetically and by subject) covering all relevant areas of study
  • Print Books: approx. 100,000 in all relevant areas of study, accessed through the online catalogue and via UNIC Library Search tool
  • UNIC Library Search: discovery service for searching simultaneously all Library resources, both electronic and print (search box at the library home page)
  • RefWorks: reference management system for creating bibliographies
